GOLFPUNK AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP 2009

Rules & Regulations:

1. Top 32 ranked will play matchplay and strokeplay.

2. Those ranked outside top 32 can play strokeplay only.

3. All putts must be finished.

4. If a player wins a match 3 & 2, they must both finish the round for the strokeplay event.

5. The lower handicapped player will give strokes according to difference of strokes.
Eg: Brian Sim, hcp 12 vs Bahrin Bakar, hcp 7
12 - 7 = 5 strokes.
Bahrin will give one stroke on the index holes 1 - 5.

6. All players play together on Sunday, 14th June 2009 only.

7. Those who cannot attend will be replaced with the next ranked player outside the top 32.

8. The table above is subject to change.

9. Please confirm your attendance by Thursday, 11th June 2009.

PUNKNEWS: Pantak Punks find success in KL

Congratulations to Team Pantak who recently won the Nett Team event in the qualifying round of the World Amateur Inter-Team Golf Championship in Kuala Lumpur on the 4th-7th May 2009. The qualifying round was held at Glenmarie Course in KL for 4 days.
Capt Hj Rijal also won the Nett Individual Champion of the qualifying round.

The four are currently in the Top 40 of the GolfPunk League with Capt Suhaini ranked 3rd, Hj Yussop ranked 4th, Hj Momin ranked 13th and Capt Hj Rijal ranked 35th.

With the win, they will now play in the Championship finals where all their air fare and hotel are all paid for. Well done Pantak Punks !!!
